On Wednesday, November 1st, Investigation Discovery hosted a special event for the LOST WOMEN OF HIGHWAY 20 at the NYA Studios West in Los Angeles, CA, which will be released this weekend. The evening consisted of an advance screening of the first part of the documentary, followed by a fireside chat with Executive Producer Octavia Spencer andPaula Zahn, Emmy Award-winning journalist and host of ID’s “On the Case with Paula Zahn”.
Spencer shared her passions for true crime and being able to give a voice to the voiceless by making shows like LOST WOMEN OF HIGHWAY 20 that shed light on cases that are often swept under the rug and ignored when it comes to women. Both Spencer and Zahn have powerful voices in bringing light and justice to those who are left in the shadows of their predator.
LOST WOMEN OF HIGHWAY 20 will be a three-part series premiere back-to-back Sunday, November 5 starting at 9/8c on ID.
Spencer has also been working on FEDS which will take viewers deep inside America’s most elite crime-fighting agency, the FBI. The series features exclusive access to active-duty FBI agents and will detail high-profile, dangerous, and unusual cases as told by agents, informants, undercover operatives, and victims. With unparalleled access, FEDS reveals the twists and turns of each case, as agents let their guard down and for the first time, bring us into their private world. Showcasing a variety of investigations – from infiltrating MS-13 in Boston to taking down a multimillion-dollar drug empire in Florida – FEDS demonstrates the lengths the FBI goes to protect citizens all across the country. Perhaps most powerfully, the series also uncovers looming tragedies that the FBI was able to thwart thanks to undercover agents and specialized intel.
Feds premieres Wednesday, November 8 at 10/9c on ID, new episodes will premiere weekly.
