NLE Choppa is set on fighting for love and winning back his ex-fiancée Erica Raven. The couple first made headlines back in October 2025. By Christmas 2025, Choppa proposed to Erica. He made the move over the holiday, sharing moments from the cute proposal on Instagram on December 26, 2025.
However, the couple ended up splitting after less than a year together and engaged. On August 6, 2026, Erica took to her Instagram to reveal she and Choppa, born Bryson LaShun Potts, were no longer together.
While captioning the post, she wrote, “Pray for me 🙏🏼💔.” In the video, she began, “Hey y’all. People have been asking are me and Bryson still together and I just wanted to let y’all know we are no longer together. I am now single.”
Erica Raven continued:
“I did the best to be the best fiancée. And I showed up as much as I can. I gave as much love as I can. But sometimes, it’s just not enough. So, I will be moving forward by my lonesome, focusing on myself. I’m sending him support. I’m sending him prayers. There’s no ill will. But, I just gotta focus on me now. It’s been very hard for me. It’s been a very rough 3 weeks. And I’m just trying to push through and regain control of my sh*t. You know? Please send me some support. Please send me some love. Woman-to-woman, like, we all be going through this. I’m only 23, so it’s been hard. But, we’re gonna keep pushing. And we’re gonna focus on ourselves now.”
Weeks later, on Friday (August 28), NLE Choppa took to his Instagram to break his silence on the split. While doing so, he shared 20 photos of the two. On each swipe, he shared a separate caption for his ex. In the first, he wrote:
“I apologize for not living up to this picture ❤️🩹The sweetest girl ever. it’s no excuse for me mishandling you. I’m accountable, I can be better, and I’m man enough to admit that.”
The rest of the slides continued to read:
“I feel stripped, I lost several things that’s fulfilled my heart I refuse to lose you. I want to marry you… And spend every second of my life in the presence of you pretty girl ❤️🩹. A day later, on Saturday (August 29), Choppa continued to profess his love for his ex. He not only said he loved her in a video, but also gifted her a Mercedes-Maybach car. He shared four slides and on each swipe, he again shared a separate caption.
On the first photo of him landed against the black luxury sedan with a pink bow on the hood, he held out the keys. He wrote, “Come get yo keys Erica 💕.” In the second and third photos with the car, he wrote:
“I would never let you go 💜. Let me chauffeur your heart. Infatuated with this lesson of fumbling yo blessings. Relieving yo stressing. Masseuse built in yo seats. F**k a passenger seat. Let me be yo cab driver TIL I earn a seat beside you. That’s fair to me. My love growing stronger by the day. Want you in a obsessed type of way. One wish willow me away cause I’m here to stay, Baby 💕.”
Finally, in the fourth post, he raised his hands to the sky and said a prayer. It read:
“Heavenly Father Thank you for the courage. Thank you for killing the version of me who wasn’t vulnerable enough to confess my love for this woman. I surrender. I place full trust in your restoration. I built the foundation with you. I rebuke failure within this union. In Jesus name we pray AMEN 🙏🏽.”
