Nick Cannon, the father of twelve children with six different women, recently opened up about his spiritual beliefs and the visions and messages he has received from God. During an appearance on Dr. Laura Berman’s podcast, Cannon shared that he believes God has told him that he will be a “father of many” and that he will have a great influence and legacy. “You get them in pieces or they’re fragmented,” he said of his visions. “I heard that like, ‘Yo, you’re gonna be a father of many. There’s gonna be your great influence, your lineage, your offspring are gonna do great things.’ Like I’ve had that, and I’m like that, ‘Oh well . . . the more the merrier.’ We roll the dice to the name and what you will build.”
However, Cannon emphasizes that his legacy should not only be about the number of children he has, but also about the positive impact he makes in the world. The “Wild N Out” star talks about his desire to build hospitals and education facilities, showing that he wants to use his resources and influence to help others. With that being said, the 42-year-old wants to be present in all of his children’s lives, ensuring that he is actively involved in their upbringing.

Speaking more about visions concerning his legacy, he added, “I had the vision that my name will be great as like, the Rockefeller name. I’m careful even how I talk about that because I don’t like to say, like, I don’t use the term ‘legacy’ anymore. ‘Lineage’ I’m comfortable with.” Cannon’s belief in God’s guidance and his visions play a significant role in his approach to fatherhood. He sees his unplanned children as miracles, viewing them as blessings from a higher power.
Cannon acknowledges that God is ultimately in control of how many children he will have, but he also expresses a desire to be more intentional in his future family planning. He wants to avoid any more surprises or accidents when it comes to having children and has even considered getting a vasectomy. This shows that while his faith is important to him, he also recognizes the importance of taking responsibility for his actions and making informed decisions about his family.
Despite the controversy surrounding his personal life and the unconventional nature of his family structure, Cannon’s transparency about his spiritual beliefs and visions offers a unique perspective on parenthood.
His experiences and beliefs challenge traditional notions of what it means to be a father and emphasize the importance of love, compassion, and purpose in raising children. Cannon’s journey as a father serves as a reminder that everyone’s path is different, and that it is possible to find meaning and fulfillment in unconventional ways.
I guess God did not tell him that fornication is a sin. Just saying, he needs to stop using God for his irresponsible behavior. He can’t possibly be actively present in all of his children’s lives which can cause trauma and resentment. To whom much is given, much is expected. He needs to do better. We all fall short from time to time, but this is ridiculous.
