Nick Cannon & ViacomCBS Reunite For ‘Wild ‘N Out’ After Host Apologized For Anti-Semitic Comments

On the heels of having his daytime talk show revived, Nick Cannon and ViacomCBS have now reunited for his ‘Wild ‘N Out‘ show after the host apologized for his anti-Semitic comments made last year.

As we reported last year, Cannon was under fire for comments made on his podcast concerning the Jewish community. Since, he’s apologized and even learned about Holocaust history and pledged a donation to a Jewish Center. Most recently, Cannon has also partnered with Jewish leaders on new ventures.

After publicly and privately making amends, ViacomCBS has reestablished its working relationship with Cannon. An MTV Entertainment Group spokesperson says, “Nick has not only apologized and taken responsibility for his comments, but he has also worked to educate himself and others through engagement with Jewish leaders and on his platforms. Those efforts are of the utmost importance and that’s why we have invited him to rejoin our team. On a separate note, we just learned that he tested positive for COVID and have reached out to wish him a speedy recovery.”

Further speaking on Cannon’s efforts, Wiesenthal Center associate dean Rabbi Abraham Cooper has stated, “He appears to be someone who’s genuine in his desire to make sure people understand his apology.”
