Nia Long’s ex, Massai Z. Dorsey recently spoke with the DailyMail and assured that the actress will stay with Ime Udoka regardless of his cheating scandal that was revealed to the public.
“We talk as a family, and it’s all about unconditional love, and that’s what she’s giving him,” Dorsey expressed to the DailyMail while talking about the scandal that got Udoka suspended for the entire 2022-2023 NBA season.

“We’re sticking by him 100 percent,” Dorsey, 51, said. “Ime made a mistake. Every man needs another chance. Like the Bible says, the flesh is weak. He’s not a bad guy. Hopefully, he’s learned from this.”
Dorsey is also in the same field as Long with him being an actor and well-known businessman in Beverly Hills. Dorsey is the father of Long’s 21-year-old son. According to the Dailymail, the two are very close friends and have a great co-parenting relationship.
“All I could say is good things about Ime,” Dorsey said. “He’s a good man. All these years. I’m happy he’s in my son’s life.
“It’s easy to get to the top, but to stay at the top it takes a different type of person. Right now in this season, you have to be very sensitive with women, unfortunately, because they hold the cards right now.”
As we previously reported, when the news first hit the internet fans had a lot to say about the scandal but Udoka finally spoke out regarding the situation after the Celtics decided to suspend him. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision,” the statement read. “Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.”
Furthermore, in a statement revealed by TMZ, Long requested that her privacy be respected during this difficult time for her family. “The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” Long said in the statement. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”
This past weekend, TMZ caught up with Nia Long walking with her son and proceeded to ask her how she was handling the situation, but Long didn’t have a comment for them. Fans noticed in the video she didn’t have on her engagement ring, but according to the NY Post, sources say she usually steps out of the house without wearing it.
