The New York Post’s website and Twitter account were hacked by a staff member of the publication. During the hack, the employee published disturbing and violent headlines.
As a result of one of its headlines reading, “Zeldin: Eric Adams is NYC’s fried chicken eating monkey,” the media organization earlier today issued a statement confirming that their pages had been hacked. Another headline demanded that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, President Joe Biden, and his son Hunter all be killed. According to a new statement from The New York Post, the employee was let go after an internal review.
The New York Post has been hacked. We are currently investigating the cause.

“The New York Post’s investigation indicates the unauthorized conduct was committed by an employee, and we are taking appropriate action. We immediately removed the vile and reprehensible content from our website and social media accounts.”

The breach startled Twitter users and website visitors since the remarks frequently endorsed bigotry, violence, and misogyny.
