NeNe Leakes Says It Did NOT Bother Her That Cynthia Bailey Didn’t Show Up To Gregg Leakes’ Funeral — “Seems Like It Bothered Other People”
In an interview with Page Six, Cynthia Bailey revealed that she missed Gregg Leakes’ funeral because she was simply out of town. On Wednesday while appearing on V-103, NeNe Leakes confirmed that her former castmate was absent.
“[Cynthia] didn’t even come to the repast. She did come like a week later after everything was done,” NeNe explained on V-103. “She came by my lounge,” she added of her former friend. “It’s really hard to explain ‘Housewives.’ It’s almost like a dysfunctional family.” Many Real Housewives Of Atlanta fans seemed pretty disappointed in Cynthia after coming across these clips, but Nene is speaking out once again to set the record straight.
In a series of Instagram Stories, the reality star made it clear that it did NOT bother her that Cynthia Bailey did not show up: “Did it bother me? No! Seems like it bothered other people because other people were coming to me asking me about it.”
TMZ recently caught up with Cynthia where says while she hasn’t considered NeNe a close friend in a long time, they still have respect and love for each other, and she’s not sure what more she could have done following Gregg’s death.
Gregg died in September, surrounded by friends and family, after a long battle with cancer.
