Morehouse, Clark Atlanta, Spelman Now Requiring COVID-19 Vaccinations For Fall Semester

On Monday (Apr. 19), the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC) has issued a statement that their schools (Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College, etc.) will now be requiring COVID-19 vaccinations from all staff and students arriving in the fall semester.

Per the AUCC, they will have opportunities for students and faculty to receive their two doses at the AUCC Student Health and Wellness Center. Students and staff must be “fully vaccinated” to attend in the fall and by that, patients have had to have received both of their vaccine doses.

In their statement AUCC said, “We continue to operate with the safety and well-being of our AUCC community at the forefront of our decision-making. We take pride in our community, which rallied over the last year to maintain a safe environment for teaching and learning. We will continue our strong AUCC partnership as we administer vaccinations in our campus communities and beyond to prioritize and sustain safety in our environment, which will support the excellent outcomes of our invaluable institutions.”
