As we previously reported, Mo’Nique sued the streaming service after they reportedly tried to offer her only $500,000 for a comedy special while they reportedly paid millions to other male and white female comedians. Although it has been a frustrating battle for Mo’Nique, it still wasn’t going to stop her from getting to the bag and continue to do what she loves.

According to multiple reports, the Academy-award winning actress has landed her own special “Mo’Nique & Friends: Live From Atlanta” on Showtime! It was said that it will be an hour-long special that is already set to premiere on February 7th!

Apparently, it will also feature other comedians as well as Donnell Rawlings, Prince T-Dub and more! The 52-year-old took to Instagram to share the exciting news. She said in her post,

“HEY MY LOVES!!! INTRODUCING MO’NIQUE & FRIENDS ON SHOWTIME FEBRUARY 7TH AT 10 PM. I LOVE US 4 REAL!!!”

This upcoming special will be her first stand-up special in 10 years. Congrats Mo’Nique!
