Floyd Mayweather’s boxing company has filed a $120 million lawsuit against the promotion company who promised his upcoming match with Logan Paul would take place in Dubai.

The lawsuit was filed against PAC Entertainment Worldwide who reportedly approached Mayweather Promotions about hosting the Logan Paul fight in Dubai for an unknown date in 2021. PAC claimed they had several business contacts and connections in Dubai and had the financial means to host “a fight of this magnitude” as per TMZ Sports. Additionally, the company promised lucrative earnings for both fighters and promoters would receive more than $100 million after covering various expenses.
Mayweather Promotions said in their court documents that they were impressed with PAC’s pitch and signed a contract that PAC was ordered to pay a guaranteed $110 million on a set payment schedule. However, the first payment of $30 million of due on March 25, 2021, but the company never paid them, leading to Mayweather Promotions to immediately terminate the contract.

The decision forced Mayweather’s company to quickly put together new plans for the fight which was scheduled to take place in Miami next month. In the lawsuit, Mayweather Promotions is suing for a breach of contract and they are asking for $122.6 million in damages.
