Man Stabs NYC Teen On Subway After She Ignored His Question

An NYC teen was stabbed in the arm after she reportedly ignored a man’s question when he asked him about the time.

The incident took place on Thursday morning around 12:30 a.m. when the 19-year-old victim was riding the No.1 train with her boyfriend at 181st in Washington Heights. Police said the man approached the couple and asked them about the time multiple times but was allegedly ignored by them.

Shortly after, the man walked away from the couple and approached them again before stabbing the victim in the arm with a knife. She was transported to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene after exiting the train at the 168th Street Station.

According to the New York Post, three other people were stabbed in Manhattan and the Bronx around the same time. A 39-year-old man was stabbed in the neck after an altercation with another man near West Kingsbridge Road and was transported to St, Barnabas Hospital.
