A New Jersey man charged for hosting a “corona party” for 47 people in his small apartment despite the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to CBS News, 47-year-old Wade E. Jackson held the party in his Ewing Township home on Saturday until police arrived at his home around 1 a.m. Ewing police said alcohol, marijuana, and DJ with speakers was found inside the apartment. Jackson’s guests were sent home shortly after police arrived.

Jackson was issued a summons for violating an emergency act and obstructing the law. Gov. Phil Murphy condemned Jackson’s actions on Twitter, calling it “stupid” and “dangerous.”
