A man in Prince George, British Columbia, was arrested after police caught him cruising to a 7-Eleven in a pink Barbie Jeep to grab a Slurpee.
The Incident
According to TOO FAB, witnesses spotted the man, identified as Kapser Lincoln, driving the child-sized Barbie Jeep while rocking aviator sunglasses. The joyride occurred around 9:00 a.m. during the morning commute, when traffic was heavy. “This was during the morning commute, around 9:00 a.m., and the streets were very busy at the time. Our police officer conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle to assess what was happening,” said Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
When officers stopped Lincoln, they discovered he was driving with a suspended license. Authorities also believe he was under the influence. He was ultimately arrested for driving while prohibited. Though the Barbie Jeep wasn’t exactly street-legal, Lincoln had been riding it on sidewalks and even tried to use hand signals to “play it safe.”

His Explanation
Lincoln later told CBC that he borrowed the Barbie Jeep from his roommate’s child to make a quick trip with a friend for a Slurpee. He admitted he didn’t know it was against the law and thought as long as he wasn’t in a real car, it was fine. Authorities disagreed, making it clear that a suspended license means he cannot operate any vehicle in public.
Community Reaction
Locals were left stunned and amused by the unusual sight of a grown man rolling down the street in a toy car during rush hour. Social media users quickly turned the arrest into a viral moment, joking about Lincoln’s Barbie Jeep ride.
