Lori Loughlin Speaks Out On Bob Saget’s Death: He ‘Was More Than My Friend, He Was My Family’

Lori Loughlin is joining her former “Full House” co-stars who have been paying tribute to actor Bob Saget.

As we previously reported, Saget was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday afternoon following a show in Jacksonville on Saturday night. He was just 65.

Loughlin, who first worked together on the set of Full House, which aired from Sept. 22, 1987, to May 23, 1995, released a statement about his passing saying: “Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am. Bob was more than my friend, he was my family,” Loughlin said. “I will miss his kind heart and quick wit. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and laughter. I love you, Bobby.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen also honored him in a joint statement: “Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has,” They said. “We are thinking of his daughters, wife, and family and are sending our condolences,” the girls continued.

The comedian is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three children.
