LisaRaye McCoy is the latest figure to comment on the woman who went viral for rejecting Usher during his R&B Tour concert with Chris Brown.

As we previously shared, the woman — identified online as Gabrielle Cheyenne — attended Usher and Chris’ joint tour in her hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Usher’s dancers notably escorted Gabrielle on stage. However, when she sat on the bed for Usher to serenade her, she wasn’t feeling it. As Usher leaned in, she leaned back. Subsequently, he looked to the audience and spoke into the microphone, “I don’t think she wanna be on the stage.” He walked away and signaled for his team to quickly escort her off the stage.
Woman Who Rejected Usher Slams Backlash, Says She Wanted Chris Brown
Gabrielle spoke out on Facebook and claimed she wanted to be up there with “Chris Brown, only.” However, she claims she wasn’t told whose set she would be featured in when escorts pulled her from the audience to the VIP.
However, that post was quickly deleted and another post-and-delete went viral. In that post, the self-described “boy mom and nurse” clapped back at folks in her hometown. She claimed “pretty privilege” got her on the stage and that she would never decline to be up there regardless of what happened.
Gabrielle’s mother and aunt also chimed in, even sharing a photo of the woman posing with Usher’s wife, Jennifer Goicoechea Raymond, “after her stage appearance.” Gabrielle continued to go on interviews reiterating her deleted comments.
LisaRaye McCoy Slams Woman Who Used ‘Pretty Privilege’ As Clapback Against Backlash After Rejecting Usher On Stage
Several public figures have commented on the viral incident, now including LisaRaye McCoy and Carloks King, who took to their podcast, ’Side Chat.’ During a recent episode, McCoy told Gabrielle she should’ve kept [her] a** in that seat, pretty as f**k or not.” McCoy also condemned the woman for her over-the-top deleted comments addressing backlash.
“When you go to a Chris Brown and Usher concert — we have seen it enough to know that when it comes to that part, that you know what the women have done and what is expected. So, if you go up there and do something different, other than what’s expected, people are going to look at you like you’re the dumb one because they’re like, ‘Where the hell you been? Under a rock? Because this is what it is.’
So, I get that she’s got a man and she’s not that kind of girl. But if you’re not that kind of girl, then you should’ve kept your a** sitting down in your seat. Pretty as f**k or not. And that’s just what it is. When you’re up there, that’s a part of the show. That’s what they do for that part of the show. You can’t act like you didn’t know that.”
McCoy continued to slam the young lady’s response to the backlash and said:
“Her rebuttal was a little much. Like, she came real strong. It was like […] pretty privilege or just lady-like. It’s like, ‘Wow.’ So, all of that, I was taken aback. I was like, ‘Ugh.’ It’s a lot. I think [there’s] a way you can get your point across with the stance that she took, this pretty privilege lady, that she could’ve had said all of this lady-like.She opened up a can of worms. They’re gonna get her. the intent is unstoppable.”
