Kobe Bryant’s Childhood Basketball Hoop Sold At Auction For $37,200
In November, we reported that Kobe Bryant‘s childhood home in Pennsylvania had sold for $810,000, and that his childhood basketball hoop would likely be auctioned off. Well, it’s been sold at auction for $37,200.
While being placed on display at Heritage Auctions, the b-ball hoop that stood in front of Kobe’s childhood home garage, which he used to help perfect his legendary jump shot, has been sold off at just over 37 grand.

Back in November, the home owner wanted to sell the prized memorabilia as a premium coupled with the house, but the buyer showed no interest. Therefore, it was dismounted and taken to the auction house for a hungry bidder to take home.
Aside from his childhood home and childhood basketball hoop being sold off, other Kobe Bryant memorabilia has been in ultra-high demand since his tragic passing last January.
While a signed piece of hardwood from Kobe’s Staples Center (where he played his final NBA game) was auctioned off at over $600,000, prices for signed basketballs, jerseys and more have skyrocketed.
