Socialites, do y’all remember that time Kim Kardashian was infamously flour bombed at an event back in 2012? Well, according to her former PR strategist, Sheeraz Hasan, the entire thing was planned to stage a “media moment” to boost sales for the reality star’s fragrance launch.
Sheeraz, who began working with Kim back in 2005 appeared in a British documentary titled “The Kardashians: Billion Dollar Dynasty,” asserting that they came up with a plan that was sure to get people’s attention.
At the time, it was claimed that the woman who threw the flour over Kim’s head was part of an animal rights organization protesting for the Skims founder to stop wearing fur. According to Sheeraz, though, he told the Kardashians at the time, “OK, this is what’s going to happen. You’re going to be fine, you’re going to be safe, but we’re going to create a media moment. If we create media gold, guess what’s going to happen? Everyone’s going to be talking about your perfume, everyone’s going to buy it.”
At the launch event of her perfume True Reflection in West Hollywood, California, Kim stood in shock after being covered in flour before disappearing backstage to get changed and carry on with press duties to promote her latest scent. But Sheeraz makes it very clear that the TV personality couldn’t have been that shocked since she was allegedly in on it.
Since the flour bomb attack, Kim has never actually admitted that the incident was supposedly staged, but would it honestly come as a surprise from the woman who once said she was willing to do anything to be famous early on in her career?

Not to mention, the whole thing was also featured on the seventh series of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” giving all the more reason to believe that the famous clan may have left the world fooled into thinking Kim was ambushed.
“Are the team in on it? Of course, they’re in on it,” Sheeraz added. After the incident, many assumed the attack came from PETA, who’s become known for sabotaging celebrity events and protesting for them to stop wearing animal fur. But the company later came forward, saying they had nothing to do with what occurred at the fragrance launch.
