Kim Kardashian Believed She Miscarried While Pregnant With North
While she’s previously been transparent regarding her fertility struggles, Kim Kardashian West opens up about her first pregnancy with North West; with whom she, at one point, believed she miscarried.
Recalling the scary moment, Kim tells All’s Fair with Laura Wasser podcast, “I thought I had a miscarriage because I was really heavily bleeding and in so much pain in Miami. I went [to the doctor] because you have to go in and do a [dilation and curettage] to clean out the miscarriage. “

She adds, “My doctor said, ‘Come in the morning. We’ll do it Thanksgiving night so no one will see you.’ I went in and there was no heartbeat and he said, ‘You had a miscarriage.’ Then Thanksgiving morning I came in to do it and he said, ‘There’s a heartbeat.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is a sign, it’s Thanksgiving morning,’ We ended up obviously having North.”
In addition to her first-born with husband and rapper Kanye West, Kim went on to have three more babies: Psalm (8 mos), Saint (4), and Chicago (2).
While she carried her first two little ones, the beauty mogul chose two different surrogates for Chicago and Psalm; this following complications with her pregnancies with North and Saint.
