Kim Jong Un Makes First Public Appearance Since Rumors Surfaced About His Death

Kim Jong Un is reportedly in good health after State media released footage on Saturday of the 38-year-old dictator laughing and looking well while on his way to a Mayday celebration. The leader had not been seen for 20 days.

According to Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim was attending a Labor Day event, the first event since rumors have surfaced about his deteriorating health and even death.
“When the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant goes into operation, it will represent a historical development in our country’s fertilizer industry, it will be a glorious revolution and a splendid display of our nation’s great economic potential, and it will be an uplifting banner that assures us of the achievements of our country’s general economic frontline,” Kim said, per the report.
In a video from Global News, Kim was also spotted with a mark on his wrist while riding a golf cart around the plant. Medical professionals believe the mark could be the sign of a recent cardiovascular surgery, which is what was rumored previously.
