Kevin Hart Defends Ellen DeGeneres Amid Talk Show Allegations
Katy Perry is not the only one standing by Ellen DeGeneres’ side. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart is now also speaking out to show support for the once beloved talk show host.

The 41-year-old took to Instagram Tuesday to send a little message to his followers and good friend. Hart said, “It’s crazy to see my friend go thru what she’s going thru publicly,” Hart began his post. “I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the f**king planet. She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day 1.” He added, “The internet has become a crazy world of negativity….we are falling in love with peoples down fall. It’s honestly sad…When did we get here?” he asked. “I stand by the ones that I know and that I love. Looking forward to the future where we get back to loving one another….this hate sh*t has to stop. Hopefully it goes out of style soon.”
Before concluding, Hart made it clear that
“This post is not meant to disregard the feelings of others and their experiences….It’s simply to show what my experiences have been with my friend. Love you for life Ellen.”
As we previously reported, Ellen has been making headlines for the past couple of weeks after former staffers came out to share their experience working on the talk show. While a number of them described the workplace to be “toxic,” others shared that they’ve experienced “racism” and “bullying” while working on set.
Ellen has apologized in a letter to staffers and vowed that she is “committed to ensuring this does not happen again.” However, an internal investigation into racism and bullying has been launched. To make matters worse, Show staffers have also come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct among the show’s top executives.
