Kehlani & Tinashe Blast Lana Del Rey For Posting Videos Of People Looting
After coming for numerous black female artists recently, Lana Del Rey is back in the fire after she posted videos of people looting on Instagram, resulting in criticism from fellow singers Kehlani and Tinashe.
Over the weekend, Del Rey took to the streets of Los Angeles to join one of the many protests related to #BlackLivesMatter and #GeorgeFloyd, the black man killed by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minn. last week.

In the since-deleted videos posted on Instagram, Del Rey showed protesters jumping on and destroying cars and looters burglarizing and vandalizing businesses, going as far as allegedly zooming in on them, exposing their identities. Subsequently, social media users, including Kehlani and Tinashe, called her out.
As Kehlani criticized, “@LanaDelRey please remove your instagram post it’s dangerous as f**k and a very poor choice of moments to post. by all means protest, but DO NOT endanger people with your very massive platform. oh and turn your f**kin comments on man,” Tinashe wrote, “@LanaDelRey why the f**k are you posting people looting stores on your page literally WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM.”
