Hills Star Stephanie Pratt Under Fire For ‘Shoot The Looters’ Tweet
‘The Hills’ star, Stephanie Pratt, is under fire after many were outraged by a tweet she made about those looting during the George Floyd protests.
“Shoot the looters — using this tragedy as their excuse to rob and burn all of our towns down,” she tweeted on Sunday.
“Anyone else sobbing watching their town being burned down?” she wrote. “Where the f— is the national guard — Santa Monica is burning!!!!!!”
“My heart breaks for all of these businesses around LA affected. First the quarantine & now this,” she added.
She was quickly met with criticism, with many adding that her tweets were very similar to Donald Trump’s May 28 tweets, threatening protestors with the military, “when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” he tweeted.
Oh cause I thought the thief who shoplifted more than $1,300 worth of clothing from Neiman Marcus said some…. https://t.co/EypzndREp7 pic.twitter.com/iopLe7E7Wd

Many pointed out Pratt’s 2006 mugshot from a shoplifting arrest while she was high on drugs, adding that she can’t talk. While others pointed out,
“I think more people are sobbing watching video footage of the murder of an innocent black man in broad daylight,” someone else replied.
