Julia Fox recently spoke on her past relationship with Kanye West and said she feels like her acting career went south after dating the rapper.
“After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way,” Julia told Emily Ratajkowski on the Nov. 7 episode of her High Low with EmRata podcast. “I’m not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There’s been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety.”
“It’s fine, I’m so busy,” Julia said. “I think things come to you at the right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing. I really don’t care.” The 32-year-old added, “I just have to trust the process.”
Even though the relationship was fairly quick the actress recently said, “It was the best thing that could have happened to me. It kind of brought a spark back into my life that I had kind of forgotten about.”
Fox and Ye met in Miami on New Year’s Eve. The two instantly vibed and even visited to New York City together within days of knowing each other. The relationship between the two took the internet by storm when they dropped photos together traveling all over the world. Things quickly began to change once Ye began to make serval Instagram posts about Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. Fox and West agreed to put the relationship to rest after 6 weeks of dating.
In an interview following their breakup Fox was asked about her thoughts on any future relationships and she shared, “I don’t even have the time to, like, brush my hair,” Fox joked to ET. “I mean, if I meet someone, yes. If nature plays its course, and someone comes along, I’d be more than happy to entertain that. But I’m not looking for anything right now.”
As for where things stand between her and West now she replied, “We’re still friends, yeah,” she confirmed.
