Things for Jonathan Majors continue to get worse as he faces more problems, stemming from his fall from grace that dates back to his recent domestic violence arrest. It’s now reported that more alleged abuse victims are cooperating with the D.A.’s Office.
Jonathan Majors Faces Additional Problems As More Alleged Abuse Victims Cooperate With D.A.’s Office
As we shared last month, Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City after a 30-year-old woman, reported as his girlfriend, accused the 33-year-old ‘Creed III’ star of grabbing her up, slapping her, and putting his hands around her neck.
The woman claimed it all happened in the back of a cab after the two were headed home from a night out on the town. During their ride home, the alleged abuse victim claimed she saw another woman texting Majors. So, she confronted him, which led up to him allegedly putting his hands on her.
That night, the two went to two separate places, and the next morning, the woman made a police report, claiming abuse. Majors was soon arrested, and charged with strangulation, assault and harassment. However, the ‘Ant-Man’ actor and his legal team continue to fight for his innocence.
Majors’ defense attorney Priya Chaudhry, said they were sure his charges would be dropped. Upon claiming so, they ended up dropping off texts from the woman, claiming she took responsibility for causing the fight.
In the alleged texts, the woman allegedly wrote, “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight.”
The message continued, “I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone. I only just got out of hospital. Just call me when you’re out. I love you.”

In a second text, the woman allegedly added, “They just called again to check on me and I reiterated how this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing on any charges being placed. I read the paper they gave me about strangulation and I said point blank this did not occur and should be removed immediately. The judge is definitely going to be told this. She ensured this to me.”
The message continued, “I know you have the best team and there’s nothing to worry about. I just want you to know that I’m doing all I can [on] my end. I also said to tell the judge t oknow that the origin of the call was to do with me collapsing and passing out and your worry as my partner due to our communication prior. Out of care. She promised all will be relayed.”
However, the texts haven’t gone over that well in the court of public opinion. And since, Majors has: 1) lost his partnerships with the U.S. Army; 2) has been reportedly dropped by his management and publicity teams; 3) has reportedly been pulled from an upcoming Marvel film; and 4) will reportedly no longer be attending the Met Gala with Valentino.
In addition to his attorney working with him, her husband, Andrew Bourke, has been serving as Majors’ crisis manager/publicist, and he too insists that Majors is the victim in the March incident.
Now, as of Wednesday (April 19), Variety reports that more alleged abuse victims are coming forward and cooperating with the D.A.’s Office in New York — ahead of Major’s May 8 court appearance for his March incident.
Sources tell the publication that multiple alleged abuse victims have been working with the Manhattan district attorney’s office.
