Cam’Ron Slams Homophobic Claims After His Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors Post: ‘I Have No Problem With Anyone Gay’
On Saturday (April 8), Cam’Ron posted a photo of ‘Creed III’ stars Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors — which featured MBJ sitting and Jonathan standing behind him with his arms hanging over MBJ’s shoulders and chest.
Killa Cam captioned the post, “The reason I didn’t go see ‘Creed.’” Immediately following his post, his comment section went up in flames with critics calling him out for suggesting that there was a hidden agenda behind the promotional photo, captured by The New York Times.
While fellow New York rapper Fabolous commented, “This was a funny promo shoot for a Boxing movie [crying laughing emoji],” another NY rapper, Don Q, commented, “They couldn’t just take pics with boxing gloves? That’s crazy.”
Meanwhile, other people condemned all the negative comments. One person wrote, “It was actually good. Please let’s not promote ‘that’ narrative. Black not love/joy and friendship looks good on Blackman [brown heart emoji].”
Responding to the suggestive claims of being homophobic, Cam’Ron said, “Who said anything about ‘gay?’ I just said I didn’t see the movie ‘cause of this pice [man shrugging emoji]. You thinking about something gay!!! Which I have no problem with anyone gay.”
Another person said, “It’s really a good movie though,” and Cam’Ron quipped, “Don’t care.”A third person said, “Just when I thought you grew up [crying laughing emoji],” and Cam’Ron responded, “Sikeeeeee [crying laughing emoji].”
Additional commenters fired back at Cam’Ron and continued to criticize him. One user wrote, “But you dressed like a h*mo thug the whole early 2000s [crying laughing emojis].”
Another wrote, “You and Jim Jones got pics like this. Tread lightly @mr_camron.”
