The lawsuit was filed by the Los Angeles Superior Court and claims Jeffree Star,34, unlawfully used Anna Nicole’s likeness, name, image to ‘advertise for sale, and sell its different commercial products.’ These products include lipstick, eyeliner, and lipliner and were marketed under the name “Anna Nicole” and used the late model’s images on advertisements and product packaging.
The estate also noted that Star did not receive any approval to use Smith’s likeness and did not offer to distribute a portion of the revenue made from the products.

As per the lawsuit, Smith’s estate is asking for Star to turn over the profits he made off of the items that used her likeness and name. He has yet to respond to the lawsuit but this not the first time Star has been sued for unlawful copyright.
Back in 2017, Black Moon Cosmetics sued Jeffree Star and Manny MUA for copying their logo with similar packaging and color scheme. However, the issue has been resolved.
