NBA player J.R Smith happened to come across a man who allegedly smashed his car window during the protests in L.A. In the clip obtained by TMZ shows Smith kicking the white man several times until he finally manages to get up from the ground. Following the beatdown, Smith hopped on Instagram to explain what went down.
The 34-year-old explained, “One of these motherfu**king white boys didn’t know where he was going and broke my f**king window in my truck.” Smith says his truck was parked in a residential area away from the stores that were being looted. Smith made it clear that the incident was NOT fueled by race or hatred but added that the man “didn’t know whose window he broke and he got his ass whooped.”
Protest have broken out across the country following the tragic Monday death of Floyd. So far only one cop involved has been charged and the others have not.
