Whew! the internet be doing the absolute most sometimes. Imagine you minding your business, scrolling your feed, double-tapping a few pics, and then boom, you see your own body on somebody else’s page… with their face on it! Well, that’s exactly what went down with model Tatiana Elizabeth, and she handled it with way more grace than most of us would’ve.

The former America’s Next Top Model contestant realized that a photo she originally posted from the 2024 U.S. Open somehow popped back up but not on her page. It was sitting on influencer Lauren Blake’s Instagram with her 1.6 million followers.

Now, the photo wasn’t just “inspired.” It was basically a copy-paste situation, same outfit, same accessories, same everything. The only difference? Blake swapped in her own face using A.I. and switched the location to Miami, like she was out there living her best Miami Open life.
Tatiana summed it up perfectly, saying, “The weirdest part about this is that it’s not even an A.I. influencer. This is a real person who used A.I. to put her head on my body.”

After folks started calling it out (because of course they did), Lauren Blake came forward to address the situation. She told TMZ…

”That shouldn’t have happened, and I take full responsibility,” and explained,
”This came from an A.I. content system my team uses to generate images at scale. I did not see the original image or intentionally set out to copy anyone’s work, but that doesn’t change the outcome.”

She went on to say,
”I understand this impacted another creator, especially when it comes to respecting original work, and I never want to contribute to that kind of frustration or harm within the creative community that I have been a part of for 10 years.”

So what now?

Blake has since taken the post down and says she’s tightening things up moving forward. No more just letting content fly—she plans to personally review and approve everything before it hits her page to make sure it’s original and respectful.

And in a bit of a twist, she also said she’s grateful people spoke up, adding,
”I’m listening and appreciate you.”
The bigger convo.
