Iconic Destiny’s Child, Whitney Houston, Madonna & Cher Stage Outfits Head To Auction For COVID-19 Relief
Some of the most famous and iconic stage outfits worn by Destiny’s Child, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Cher, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, and more are headed to auction with some of their proceeds going to COVID-19 relief.
Culver City, CA-based auction house Julien’s Auction announced on Monday (Mar. 29) that several stage costumes worn by the legendary group and artists above are being put up for auction in a three-day “Music Icons” event; with some of the proceeds going towards MusiCares, which is directly helping musicians who were impacted by the coronavirus crisis.

Items for sale are Destiny’s Child’s iconic and Tina Knowles-Lawson-made golden leather fit from their “Survivor” performance during the VH1 tribute to Diana Ross in 2000 (estimated to sell between $8,000 to $10,000)– plus their custom-made magenta fringed suede outfits they rocked at the BET Awards, and their metallic red and silver leather jumpsuits from their “Independent Women Part 1” music video ($4000 to $6000). The auction is set to take place in-person and online on June 11 through June 13.
