Hollywood Unlocked was present as the first round of semi-finals took place for NBC’s hit show “America’s Got Talent.”
With the first round of Semi-Finals underway, the contestants on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” are already so close to the end!
Amanda Mena, Junior New System, Voices Of Hope, Shin Lim, Makayla Phillips, Duo Transcend, Samuel Comroe, Michael Ketterer, and Zurcaroh, were the 11 that performed on Tuesday all giving it there all in hopes of winning America’s vote.

Some of the standout performances from the night surprisingly came from each of the judge’s golden buzzer contestants which include Amanda Mena, Voices Of Hope, Zurcaroh, and Michael Ketterer.
Following the show, we got to talk to Judges Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell along with the show’s host, Tyra Banks.
This week was especially important for contestent Michael Ketterer who had judges getting emotional from his performance. Keeter who works with children who are struggling with mental health. On the carpet, he spoke about the importance of standing up for mental health and even praised judge Mel B.
“There’s so much stigma still around mental health that if people see their heroes like Mel B stand up and be bold enough to share it will encourage them to do the same thing! “

Out of 25 contestants, Tuesday nights 11 will be tuning into 4 after America makes their final votes!
