Looks like fans are a little curious why The Wendy Williams Show didn’t weigh in on Wendy being out and about in New York during the Met Gala after-parties nor speaking about her announcing her return to television again.

As we previously reported, Wendy Williams popped out with our very own Hollywood Unlocked CEO, Jason Lee on Monday and attended a Met Gala after-party which was hosted by Cardi B.

Fans were excited to hear that Wendy is in good spirits and looking to return to our television screens. While speaking with TMZ for a brief moment she was asked “when can we see you back? You look so healthy!” The 57-year-old replied with a smile, “The Wendy Williams show lives forever.” When Wendy was asked if she will be back in September, she shouted, “yes!” Now fans are questioning why this moment hasn’t been talked about during The Wendy Williams Show.

Fans took to Twitter to speak on The Wendy Williams Show not speaking on her and it seems some people aren’t understanding how her Met Gala appearance wasn’t talked about as a ‘hot topic.’

One Twitter user who goes by the name of idc_hateme expressed her feelings and tagged The Wendy Show on Twitter and shared, “y’all foul for not covering Wendy Williams at the met after-party on her own show that she built y’all terrible and foul.”

Another user by the name of Barnell09 weighed in on the conversation and said, “stop using Wendy’s name if you all aren’t going to mention her on HER show! She was at a Met Gala after-party and nothing was said about it.”

Lastly, another user shared his thoughts on Twitter saying, “so @WendyWilliams Show ain’t gonna say anything about Wendy Williams being at #MetGala, #MetGala2022 what’s that about?”

Wendy Williams Show fans have been missing the star. Just ahead of the show’s Season 13 premiere, she had health problems related to her Graves’ disease. She postponed the season debut more than once, then the show returned without her featuring various guest hosts. It was announced in March that the show would be canceled with guest host Sherri Shepherd landing her own show in that time slot.

Nonetheless, Williams — who has been undergoing wellness treatments — has made it clear in various interviews that she plans to return “bigger and brighter than ever” to television once she’s fully recovered. In fact, she’s got the “mind and body of a 25-year-old,” she’s said.
