Harvey Weinstein Attorneys Push To Remove Juror Who Wrote Book On Predatory Men

Lawyers for Harvey Weinstein are, again, relentlessly pushing to remove a juror who wrote a novel on predatory older men.

Ahead of jury selection, Weinstein’s team argued that the woman lied on her questionnaire, by withholding information regarding her book. Judge James Burke still welcomed her; and this morning he added, “My finding is, nonetheless, that she just hasn’t done anything wrong.”

In addition to their actions during the jury selection process, Harvey’s defense team tried to remove the juror again, motioning for a mistrial once she joined the group for trial. Justice Burke, denied their request.

Also during this trial, the prosecution recently slammed Harvey’s legal team for alleged “jury tampering,” this after one of his attorneys wrote an op-ed piece to Newsweek on the eve of jury deliberations.
