Gabby Petito’s Autopsy Reveals She Was Strangled To Death

During a livestream, the Teton County coroner revealed that Gabby Petito’s cause of death was strangulation, and it has been ruled as a homicide.

Her missing fiancé, Brian Laundrie is the main suspect in the case, and authorities are still working to locate his whereabouts. Blue added that Petito was likely killed three to four weeks before her body was found.

“In the manner of death we find the cause and manner to be cause death by strangulation and manner is homicide,” he said.

As we reported, the 22-year-old social media star went missing late August during a road trip from New York to Oregon with Laundrie. After weeks of searches, authorities found her remains in Wyoming national park on September 19.

“I cannot make any comment about any suspects as we are not involved in that part of the investigation,” he added. “So who committed the homicide is really to be confirmed by law enforcement.”

The coroner added that they were also waiting for other specialists to aid before toxicology results could be returned.

“It was just a matter of making sure we had everything right,” he said to reporters.

Authorities are currently working on locating Brian Laundrie.
