While teasing his upcoming July 10 album, ‘The Real Me,’ Future opens up about his views on love, admitting he loves “true love” and definitely wants to get married but only if his wife can love on him “unconditionally,” and accept that he will still have his “temptations.”
On Wednesday (July 1), the Atlanta rapper took to his Instagram Story with a quick video. In it, he shared a conversation he had with his team over dinner. He explained his motivations behind his new project and his honest thoughts about love. In the clip, a woman told Hendrix that she thinks he loves love. He didn’t deny it, confirming:
“But I love true love. I don’t want fake love. True love is like having another life. It’s like having another hit record. How many people can get that? Everybody wants true love, but how many people can get the chance to experience it? If you’re my true love, you’re the person that make my heart beat.”
When asked if he ever wants to get married, Pluto boldly admitted:
“Hell yeah! Do I want to get married to the wrong person? No. Do I want to be faithful to the wrong girl? No. Every man that married the right woman, they progress. When you marry and the sh*t that ain’t for sure, you lose.”
Future, who’s often labeled the “Toxic King,” continued to explain that his future wife has to love him unconditionally and be able to accept and handle his “temptations.” He shared:
“If you see me out with a f**king girl, holding her hand, she like, ’N***a, I still love you. I love you when you holding another b*tch hand!’ It ain’t right, that’s just unconditional love. I’m still who I am. Like, that don’t matter what. You love me on who I am. Whether I got temptations or not. Being in the back of line just don’t come with Future. It comes with a lot of girls too.”
Future reasoned that this is why he titled his new project, ‘The Real Me.’ He added:
“I’m at a point in my life where I’m being the real me. You suffer because you can’t even show the people who you really are. That’s why I’m making this album, ‘The Real Me.’ Because I want people to know this is the real me. In love or not in love, or however it is. This is the real me and how I feel.”
