Florida Father Arrested With Rapper Son For Murder, Pleads Guilty In Another Case
In September 2020, we reported on a Florida father being arrested after allegedly helping his rapper son following a deadly shooting of another upcoming rapper in Jacksonville. The father, identified as 50-year-old Abdul Robinson, has now pleaded guilty to marijuana possession and a felony charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, in another case, unrelated.
On January 28, Robinson is set for sentencing after pleading guilty last month to the aforementioned charges. Robinson’s reckless driving charge in the January 2019 incident has since been dropped. Aside from this case, Robinson is also a suspect, charged as an accessory to his son, 21-year-old rapper KSOO, real name Hakeem Robinson; who is accused of killing aspiring rapper Lilbuck, real name Charles Quentin McCormick Jr., 23.

It’s reported that KSOO’s motive for the alleged shooting of McCormick Jr. was over the killing of his brother and Abdul Robinson’s son, Willie Addison. KSOO and the elder Robinson are still awaiting trial, along with two other suspects in McCormick Jr’s shooting, Dominique Berner and Leroy Whitaker.
