Facebook & TikTok Join Twitter To Ban Posts Wishing Death On Donald Trump After COVID-19 Diagnosis

After his COVID-19 diagnosis, Facebook and TikTok are now banning posts wishing death on President Donald Trump; following suit of Twitter who threatened to suspend accounts violating the guideline.

Since POTUS announced that he and FLOTUS, Melania Trump, contracted the novel coronavirus, social media has been set ablaze with views opposing the usual “get well” wishes you’d send to a neighbor. Subsequently, Facebook and TikTok, among others, like Twitter, are now prohibiting users from speaking ill against Trump.

While Twitter’s communications account threatens suspension of violators and writes, “Tweets that wish or hope for death, serious bodily harm or fatal disease against *anyone* are not allowed and will need to be removed;” Facebook and TikTok say any posts wishing death on Trump, including comments on his pages and posts that tag him, will be immediately removed.

Moreover, some users on Twitter feel the warning is blanketed at all, considering we’ve seen many other instances were death threats were issued without penalty. Check out the tweets below.
