ESPN host, Michael Wilbon is also weighing in on Ja Morant’s latest gun flashing incident. While speaking during NBA countdown Wilbon spoke about Ja previously announcing he was going to a facility to get help.

“We hear about 4 or 5 days or 8 days in in some facility in Florida, that’s a joke that’s PR and so you can try to PR your way out of this through other social media forms and all of that, but the question is, is he going to do the work that is required to get himself out of this.” Wilbon said.

He then continues to say how it is possible for Nike and Powerade to cut ties with NBA all star and how his son is not allowed to buy Morant’s sneakers. “What’s going to happen now? Nike gonna pull that shoe? Is Powerade gonna pull that drink? I know in my house, I told [my son] you can’t have the shoe… Our money as a family is not going toward that.”

As we previously reported, a ton of celebrities have weighed in on Morant’s stupid decision to whip out another gun on Instagram. Shannon Sharpe even gave his 2 cents on Undisputed today saying, “I’m mad, I’m upset, I’m disgusted by the people that defended (Morant),” he said.

“Because that’s what got us here. All of the people that said let Ja be Ja, are y’all gonna be the treasurer of that GoFundMe account, because he just lost $39 million because he wasn’t on one of the three All-NBA teams. Sharpe believes Morant could very well end up losing his NBA contract and many of his endorsement deals for making the same mistake after just recently coming off his suspension for a similar incident where he flashed a gun. “He’s about to lose another $20-$30 million of these endorsements.”

Fat Joe even made a video that made rounds on social media. The rapper even took it as far as saying he’s trying to kick out of the NBA.

“He’s trying hard to get kicked out the NBA,” Joey Crack said. “Those guys that’s with you, they not your peoples, Ja. They don’t care. This is a problem we have with our community becoming famous.”

He continued, “Because the people around you, they like that the girls is watching, they love the lifestyle, but they’re not you. They didn’t dribble the basketball in the snow on Christmas trying to figure out the Kobe moves, or the Jordan moves. They didn’t put in the work like you.”
