Erykah Badu revealed to fans on Twitter that she received some confusing results regarding the coronavirus. She says one of her nostrils only tested positive.

On Friday, she shared the news stating that she had no symptoms and only tested positive in her left nostril. However, she tested negative for the virus in her right nostril and joked that they need to do a VERZUZ battle to settle the score. Badu tweeted, “No symptoms. Was tested for COVID. Same machine. Left nostril positive. Right nostril negative. Maybe they need to call Swiss Beats so they can do a versus between them. Funny thing is, Dr. ONLY reported the positive result. What the fack is goin on here. Rapid Test. $$$$ smh.”

Prior to her live stream performances, Badu requires her staff to test negative for the coronavirus. She later tweeted that she tested negative three times after receiving a positive result.
“What an inconvenience to be tested positive then negative 3x after within 24 hours. Same test. We understand that they aren’t 100% accurate but this is strange.”
