Drake is something else! The lover boy is staying true to his name as he reportedly copped new jewelry that seems pretty meaningful… to him.
According to @tmz_tv, the rap goat recently purchased a flashy necklace that includes 42 engagement ring diamonds… and apparently, that number is all the times he wanted to propose!
While speaking with the news outlet, celebrity Jeweler Alex Moss explained that Drizzy’s new piece is called “Previous Engagements.” The ice was reportedly made using 18K white gold and took an entire 14 months to put it together. While the jeweler won’t share how much the necklace cost, it was said that it’s a tribute to all the women Drizzy contemplated asking to marry him, but never went through. Now, Drake hasn’t called cap on the meaning behind his new drip yet, but he did debut it at Lil Baby’s birthday concert in Atlanta last Saturday at State Farm Arena.
Aside from this, Drake has a top tier jewelry collection. Earlier this year, he showed fans his iced-out necklace from Homer— Frank Ocean’s high-end apparel and accessories brand. The piece, which is called “Sphere Legs High Jewelry Necklace,” is the most expensive offering from the imprint, costing a whopping $1.9 million.
According to Therichest.com, Drizzy also has tons of watches including the most expensive one which is the customized RM-056 that he gifted himself in 2021 for his 35th birthday.
