Diddy’s Latest Attempt To Get Out Of The Slammer Has Been Shot Down Yet Again

Diddy’s latest attempt to get out of the slammer has been shot down yet again.

The music mogul just took another legal L. This Monday, his motion for bail was officially denied by Judge Arun Subramanian — the same judge who presided over his high-profile trial.

“Combs fails to satisfy his burden to demonstrate an entitlement to release,” the judge wrote in a letter issued Monday.

And just like that, all the support letters and legal efforts couldn’t save him from staying put behind bars.

Last week, Combs’ legal team filed a motion pushing hard for his release ahead of his sentencing date, which is locked in for October 3. His team was hoping the court would consider his behavior during lock-up and the fact that one of his former accusers, Virginia Huynh — identified in court as “Victim 3” — submitted a letter backing his release.

Despite the surprising show of support from Huynh, who was once part of the government’s original sex-trafficking case, Judge Subramanian didn’t budge. The message is loud and clear: Diddy isn’t going anywhere until the court says otherwise.

On July 2, Diddy was acquitted of major charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. That part of the case — the one that grabbed headlines for months — didn’t stick. But it wasn’t all good news.

The jury did find him guilty on two lesser counts: transportation to engage in prostitution. That’s still serious, and now prosecutors are pushing for a sentence of four to five years — which includes the 11 months he’s already spent locked up since his September 2024 arrest.

According to courtroom insiders, the prosecution argued that while Diddy may have dodged the most severe allegations, the underlying behavior still showed a pattern of criminal intent.

The judge apparently agreed. His Monday ruling didn’t mince words, emphasizing that the evidence and circumstances didn’t justify letting Combs walk free ahead of his sentencing.

This ruling ultimately means Diddy will remain in custody at least until his October 3 sentencing date. His legal team is expected to appeal the decision, but given how this one played out, it’s looking more and more like he’ll have to sit tight.

Mark your calendars. October 3 is when everything comes to a head. That’s when Diddy will stand before Judge Subramanian one more time to hear his fate.

If prosecutors get their way, he’ll serve a few more years. But if the defense can convince the judge to go lighter — possibly citing the time already served, good behavior, and the support letter from Huynh — we could see a reduced sentence.
