According to TMZ, Chauvin is currently held at the Ramsey County Jail in St. Paul, Minnesota after his detainment Friday afternoon. Their source says the alleged murderer did not make any eye contact with anyone upon his arrival at the jail before his check-in. He went through an unclothed body search and was placed in a single cell at a specialized wing of the jail for high-profile cases. Currently, he is in isolation and there’s a camera monitoring his activities 24/7.
Although officials did not use the term “suicide watch”, they are doing routine checks to make sure nothing happens to him while he’s in custody.
