Daunte Wright’s Brother Screams At Kim Potter Protestors & His Sister Gets Handcuffed After Alleged ‘Fight With His Son’s Mother’

It’s understatement to say that today has been a tough day to navigate for the Wright family following the sentencing of Kim Potter — the cop who murdered Daunte Wright. Following news of the 2-year conviction, Wright’s mother called out the justice system, and now we’ve learned that his sister was handcuffed after an alleged “fight with his son’s mother,” and his brother was caught screaming at protestors.

Previously, we shared a clip from the press briefing with Wright’s mother, Katie Wright, slammed the judicial system for “murdering” her son all over again with news of her son’s killer receiving a 24-month prison stay. She said she could “never forgive” former officer Potter for her actions.

Wright’s sister and brother were also present and post-trial things escalated with each. Wright’s sister, Diamond, Wright, was among a few people handcuffed and detained. There have been mixed reports that Diamond got into a fight with Chyna Whitaker, the mother of Wright’s two-year-old son, and reports of her actually protecting her from an attack from someone else. However, a video shared online appears to prove the former, as an officer tells Wright’s brother, Damiek Wright, “She’s being arrested for assault.” Later Damiek himself is also seen in viral clips screaming at protestors in support of Kim Potter. He’s heard calling a man, “b***h a**,” and “f***ot,” and later challenging him to “go outside.” #Socialites, let’s continue to keep the Wright family in prayer.
