Congratulations to Hailie Jade, the podcaster and daughter of Eminem, who took to Instagram on Monday to announce that she’s engaged. The 27-year-old shared a photo with her beau Evan McClintock as they burst open a bottle of champagne after sealing the deal, with the caption reading, “casual weekend recap… 😭💗 2.4.23 💍. i love you @evanmcclintock11.”

She shared three different snaps, including the moment McClintock got on his knee and popped the big question to her. It’s unclear how long the pair have been together, given that Jade — similar to her famous father — tends to keep her private life away from the limelight, particularly social media.

Although on perhaps a few occasions, she has given fans a glimpse into her love life, having previously gushed about McClintock in an Instagram post from July 2021, where she wrote, “I rarely share my feed, but when i do i’m happy it’s with you.”

The year prior, Eminem gushed about his daughter on “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” where he said, “No babies. Just a boyfriend. She’s doing good. She’s made me proud for sure.”

On her popular podcast, “Just A Little Shady,” Jade had previously opened up about what life was like for her growing up as the daughter of a global Hip-Hop icon.

While she remembers often traveling on tour buses and being on the road, Jade admits that in contrast to the lives others were living around her, she calls it a “surreal” experience that eventually became the norm.

“I remember going on [Eminem’s tour bus] and all our memories of being young were so cool and unique to look back at now,” she said. “But at the time, it felt so normal and not anything strange or different. I mean, ’cause we didn’t know any better.”

“Obviously we were in a normal public school, we never thought anything was different,” Jade added, implying that despite being raised to lead a normal lifestyle, her dad’s fame couldn’t be overlooked — and neither could the perks.

“I don’t know, we had so many normal experiences that when something like that happened, I thought like, ‘Oh, everybody else does this too.’ Not realizing that like, no, that’s freaking weird. It’s so fun to look back, when we have these conversations here, wherever, like thinking back as an adult, like, ‘Wow, that’s actually so surreal.’
