Comedian And “Friday” Actor Anthony Johnson Dies At 55

The comedian who was best known for roles in “House Party” and “Friday” was reportedly found lifeless in a store earlier this month in Los Angeles and rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Johnson’s nephew shared the sad news with TMZ.

Fellow comedian Rickey Smiley also shared the news this morning on his Instagram page. Social media users are also reacting to the heartbreaking news online. One fan said, “R.I.P. to comedy/acting LEGEND, Anthony Johnson. It’s being reported he passed at the age of 55. Some of his most notable roles were in 90s classics like House Party, I Got The Hook Up, BAPS and Friday.🙏🏾🕊💐” Another added,
“RIP Anthony Johnson. He had more quotable lines in one movie than a lot of people careers.” A third said, “Anthony Johnson died.. I’m glad I got to actually see him do some stand up and actually talk to him person to person.. at this rate ain’t nobody gonna be left to star in the Last Friday”
