As we previously reported, Teigen and husband John Legend announced that they suffered the loss of their pregnancy with their son last September. A year has already come around and Chrissy Teigen is sharing that she’s still having a difficult time dealing with his passing.

The 35-year-old shared a picture of herself crying next to Legend along with the caption that read, “to the son we almost had. a year ago you gave me the greatest pain I could ever imagine to show me I could survive anything, even if I didn’t want to. I didn’t get to take care of you but you came and went to get me to love myself and take care of myself because our bodies are precious and life is a miracle. they told me it would get easier but yeah, that hasn’t started yet. mom and dad love you forever.”

The pregnancy loss came after Teigen experienced complications that led to her being hospitalized. She needed blood transfusions and also had to be placed on bed rest. Despite staying positive, doctors later told her he would not make it.

Fans have been sending encouraging words and prayers to the star in her comment section.
