Chrissy Teigen has issued fans with a pregnancy update, saying she no longer has to make regular trips to her doctor because she’s finally started feeling her baby. The 36-year-old announced she’s expecting another child with John Legend last month, almost two years after the pair lost their son Jack in October 2020.
While fans were led to believe Teigen had suffered a miscarriage at the time, she recently shared that the pregnancy was actually a medical termination in order to save her life. Though she initially hesitated to announce she had another bun in the oven, given the painful experience she endured the last time around, Teigen has since hopped onto Twitter, letting her fans know that there’s less to worry about now that she has started to feel her baby moving.
I finally feel the baby so I don’t need to text my doc for a daily drive by ultrasound anymore 🥹

“I finally feel the baby so I don[‘t need to text my doc for a daily drive-by ultrasound anymore,” she tweeted on Tuesday alongside a happy-tears emoji. Teigen and Legend are already parents to two children: daughter Luna, 6, and their four-year-old son, Miles.
The Utah native made headlines earlier this month when she came forward to share that while fans thought she had miscarried, she and her husband were forced to terminate their last pregnancy with Jack due to a health complication.
Teigen was already halfway through her pregnancy when doctors told her that the baby would not survive, and neither would she if there wasn’t a medical intervention. “Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.”
Chrissy Teigen wouldn’t be the 1st woman to call an abortion a miscarriage. Women are shamed for terminating pregnancies even if it’s to save their own life. Don’t focus on the “lie” but on building a society where women don’t have to due to judgemental and sanctimonious people.

Her comments were met by a heap of praise from fans, who praised Teigen for her courage to speak out about a topic that’s often swept under the rug since the topic tends to be too sensitive for some to talk about. “Thank you for making this statement,” one person wrote on Twitter, following Teigen’s remarks.
“It’s important for people to know that real people make really hard decisions about their health. Abortion is a medical necessity sometimes, as sad and painful as that CHOICE is.
