Chrisean Rock doesn’t want to be these wild headline so she’s addressing the lingering rumors surrounding her late ex-boyfriend, Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann. Law enforcement authorities recently confirmed that the murder investigation into Cann’s fatal shooting remains open and active.
As previously reported, Cann was shot multiple times outside a home in Maryland in February 2025 in what investigators believe was a targeted attack. Over a year later, police have yet to publicly name suspects or make any arrests in the ongoing case.
Taking to social media from her car, Chrisean clapped back at critics accusing her of staying silent or hiding from authorities, revealing that she has been fully cooperative with law enforcement. “I’m sitting at the gym… I answer my phone, I tell them come in. There’s investigators,” Chrisean recalled during her live video. She went on to explain that detectives reassured her directly, stating: “They like, ‘Hey, we know you didn’t do it, we got his phone,’ yada yada yada, ‘we’re recording this.’ Yeah, record it all… because y’all need to put an end to it. Y’all need to find out who really killed that man”.
Frustrated by the internet narrative linking her to his tragic death, Chrisean vented about feeling targeted by blogs and online commentary. “Boom, they talking about Karon, yada yada yada, open investigation. Bro, that got nothing to do with me. His death has nothing to do with me,” she stated firmly. She went on to call out those around him prior to his passing, arguing that his lifestyle was out of control and that no one in his inner circle intervened: “He was high… he was on Perks, he was on Molly, he was on lean, he was drinking. Where was his parents then? Where was his family then? Nobody was holding Karon accountable… Nobody was trying to save Karon before he died, bro”.
Addressing the emotional toll and her detachment from the situation, Chrisean reflected on how their rocky past changed her feelings long before he passed. “Y’all never asked me not one time how did I feel about it. Did it hurt me? Did it move me? At that point, I already stopped loving him.
Not like that. When he died, I had no feelings in my body because it was like… that person was trying to kill me before he left,” she shared. She concluded by pushing back against those using the tragedy for attention: “He was trying to diminish my character, my image… cloud chase off of my son that I love the most… All y’all sound dumb, bro”.
