Chloe Bailey has officially addressed the haters who continue to talk about her album sells.

During her show Tuesday night she took the time to address the backlash. “I don’t have another song to sing I just wanted to say hi again because can’t let go of this feeling. Make sure y’all go support this mother f*cking album. F*ck what the f*ck everybody got to say and they can kiss my black ass.* She sounded off saying.

As we previously reported, Chlöe’s “In Piece” dropped last month and moved just 10K units in its first week out, charting at #119 on the weekly Billboard 200 update, according to Chart Data. She and her little sister Halle Bailey previously sold 24K units together when they dropped their joint project, “Ungodly Hour,” which charted at #16.

With a great promo rollout and her amazing talent, Twitter users have been trying to unpack the “low number.” One said, “Chloe Bailey album sold less than 10k…OUCH,” Another tweeted, “Chloe Bailey selling 10K is crazy. All that industry push. She was on every major platform doing interviews. The Beyoncé connection, major industry features, dubbed the next it girl, Beyoncé’s “protege”, got dug out in doggy, all to flop. Sold less than Coi Leray.” Despite the negative reviews, her loyal fans quickly defended her. One clapped back and said, “Coi Leray’s album sold 10k & now she has a top 10 song so 🤷🏻‍♂️” Another went on to add, “Y’all can talk about Chloe all y’all want to but the truth of the matter is, if YOU had to sell 10,000 of anything you made with your own talents in a week…you could not do it.

But y’all don’t ever look at it like that. Y’all like to point and laugh at metrics that you yourself could never reach and that’s actually pretty wild when you really think about it.” “I’m so tired of the fake support y’all give these artists just to be crickets when they drop music,” a third said.
