Years after Bow Wow claimed Lil Wayne dated Solange Knowles, Weezy’s daughter, Reginae Carter, is now confirming the romance.

Bow Wow Claims Lil Wayne And Solange Knowles Used To Date
Five years ago, Bow Wow notably went on the Clubhouse app (y’all remember those times?) and he claimed Lil Wayne and Solange Knowles used to date. While some social media users claimed they already knew the tea, a majority of folks did not. And others simply thought Bow was trying to go viral in a #BowWowChallenge-esque moment.
At the time, in December 2020, Bow said Wayne and Solange secretly dated in the early 2000s when he first came on the music scene. While Bow was reminiscing on his childhood career as Lil Bow Wow, he shared the tea. As he talked about his song “Let Me Hold You,” he “slipped” and mentioned Wayne and Solange’s secret romance. However, he then claimed everybody knew.
Reginae Carter Confirms Rumors That Lil Wayne And Solange Knowles Dated
A little over five years later, Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, is confirming Bow’s claims. During the March 19 episode of Reginae’s ‘Heir Time’ podcast, she confirmed the news while interviewing guest, Toie Ashanti — the daughter of rapper Rick Ross.
Reginae asked Toie, “Have you ever been obsessed with one of your dad’s girlfriends, besides your mom?” She continued to share:
“I was telling my friend—this is funny—I was telling my friend the other day—I was telling her that I used to love Nivea. I begged for Niv to come to my party. I used to—I begged to dress like Nivea for my party. And I’m like, ‘My mom was always just so G [gangsta] about it. I love Nivea. I love Trina. I love Solange. Yeah, he had a few!”
It’s public knowledge that Wayne dated Nivea, as they share a child together. Additionally, Wayne was also once engaged to Trina. However, the romance with Solange wasn’t as public…until now at least.
