TLC singer Chilli recalls the iconic 90s girl group’s hilarious nickname previously shared by the late Left Eye, revealing it’s the “TItty-Less Crew” and that T-Boz would “call her the president.”

Chilli’s Boyfriend Matthew Lawrence Reacts To Her Recalling TLC’s Hilarious Nickname: ‘The Titty-Less Crew’
Chilli, born Rozonda Thomas, recently recalled the group’s nickname on her boyfriend, Matthew Lawrence‘s podcast, ‘The Brotherly Love Pod.’ The ‘Boy Meets World‘ star co-hosts the podcast with his brothers, Andrew Lawrence and Joey Lawrence. Chilli appeared on a live episode of the podcast that’s currently on tour. For this episode, the podcast stopped in Las Vegas, Nevada at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.
In a clip shared by the brothers and podcast account on Instagram, Chilli asked, “Can I tell y’all something? I want to make y’all laugh. I’m gonna tell you something. TLC stands for T-Boz, Left Eye, and Chilli. Okay? The other name is—and this is good—okay? Y’all ready? Titty-Less Crew.”

The live audience immediately exclaimed “wooo!” and roared with laughter and applause. The camera then panned to the podcast hosts’ reactions, including jaw-drops and cackles. Notably, Chilli’s boyfriend Matthew Lawrence, 45, laughed aloud while dropping his jaw, showing all teeth, and turning his head at his partner in disbelief of what she had just shared.
Responding to the brothers’ disbelief and dropped jaws, Chilli, 54, shared her nickname from T-Boz, born Tionne Watkins. She said, “I know you guys didn’t know I was going to say that. And if Tionne were here— T-Boz, I’m saying — she’d be like, ‘And you’d be Pres-o-dent.’ That’s what she would say to me.”
While sharing the clip to his Instagram in a collaboration post, Matthew Lawrence captioned it, “Chilli Live in Vegas on the pod! Long over due but glad it happened the way it did! Thank you for being apart of this! ❤️ check it out we had a blast! LEGEND ❤️🔥 Love you.”
In the comment section, Chilli declared, “Reppin for the A’s👏🏽👏🏽😂😂😂.” Another user wrote, “Ain’t no way that was y’all name 😂😂.” The singer replied, “It’s the second meaning for TLC 😉.” Another person wrote, “Omg, I was gonna say ‘The Love of Christ’ lol.” Chilli replied, “😂😂😂😂 I do love the Lord though.”
Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes Shares TLC’s Hilarious Nickname ‘Titty-Less Crew’ And Calls Chilli The President
A clip of the late Left Eye, born Lisa Lopes, has also floated around the internet showing her previously mentioning TLC’s second meaning. In an interview, Left Eye said, “TLC also stands for the Titty-Less Crew.”
Both T-Boz and Chilli both agree, saying, “That’s right!” and “Yes, we are!” Left Eye then quipped “She’s the president,” while pointing both index fingers at Chilli. T-Boz immediately cackled while Chilli laughed it off and said, “Thank you very much.”
